Liverpool is the UK’s fastest growing economy outside London.
It is at the centre of a conurbation of 1.6 million people, and has an economy generating £17 billion per year. The strength of Liverpool’s economy is evidenced by the calibre of companies it attracts. Sony, Jaguar Land Rover and Grosvenor are all major investors in Liverpool.
Liverpool now attracts almost 54m day visitors annually, and the number of staying visitors has risen to 4.8m
